    Dietary supplement fortified with extra vitamin K for birds

    Any bird under temporary treatment with antibiotics, as is the case during serious illness or while in quarantine, needs the support of this multi-vitamin supplement. Antibiotics or sulphonamides often hinder the vitamin synthesis by the intestinal bacteria, leading to a hypo or avitaminosis.

    It was this knowledge and experience that formed the basis for formulating NEKTON-Q and placing specific emphasis on the vitamins A, E and K, which, among other functions, strengthen the cell walls, regulate the metabolism of cell structure, disinfect the cellular metabolic process and protect cell tissue. This means an improved functioning of the cells and better resistance to infections due to an increase in the number of antibodies in the bird’s organism.

    The extra menadione helps combat the negative effect antibiotics have on the blood count and level and blood coagulation.

    Ideal, too, for such birds as fig parrots, who need more than average vitamin K.
