Antibiotics can upset the balance of good bacteria in your pet's gut. Many vets recommend giving a probiotic during and after treatment, spaced a few hours apart from the antibiotic, to help restore healthy gut flora.
We don't have a probiotic in stock made just for this pet right now. Here's everything we carry. Your vet can help you choose.
Tip: if you're giving the antibiotic in drinking water, there's no need to add the probiotic to that same water. It won't do any good there. Add it to soft food instead.
Tip: give the probiotic a few hours apart from the antibiotic. If the antibiotic is given by mouth, give the probiotic a few hours later. If it goes in drinking water, sprinkle the probiotic on soft food instead.
