 Mealworms are very high in protien, does not need to be refrigerated has more protien than live mealworms easy to use, you can mix with there seeds or put in a seperate dish and they won't crawl out of the dish. Use all year around has a long shelf life and you can reseal in the bag. These mealworms are FDA & USDA approved and certified. If you have trouble getting your birds to eat dried mealworms, try adding a dash of cold press extra virgin olive oil so that the dried mealworms look "life like" to the birds. The oil oil is tasteless, has lots of anti-oxidants, plus amino acids, &never goes rancid.
