Buff Clucks ChickStrong

Buff Clucks ChickStrong is a fine-cut seven-herb blend for the brooder, not a complete feed. Use buff clucks chickstrong herbal support for chicks by mixing one pouch into complete starter or grower feed.

Quick product facts

  • Brand: Buff Clucks
  • Form: fine-cut herbs
  • Seven herbs; listing states no fillers
  • For baby chicks, day one through about eight weeks
  • Mix: one pouch into 15–20 lb of complete starter or grower
  • Net weight is not stated in the manufacturer text on the current listing

Before using

  • Keep a complete chick starter or grower as the foundation diet
  • Use only the labeled ratio — do not top-dress extra
  • Ask a poultry professional whether chick grit is needed
  • Confirm net weight on the physical pouch; it is not stated here
  • Seek a veterinarian quickly if chicks weaken, stop eating or drinking, or show bloody droppings or labored breathing

Seven-herb blend

  • Calendula
  • Thyme
  • Greek oregano
  • Nettle leaf
  • Lemon balm
  • Blue malva
  • Rose petals

Cut smaller so the herbs distribute through crumble and suit developing beaks. Intended to complement starter and support normal digestive wellness — not to supply the protein, vitamins, and minerals required for growth.

How to mix

  • Open a fresh 15–20 lb bag of age-appropriate complete chick starter or grower
  • Add the entire pouch
  • Mix thoroughly so the fine-cut herbs are even
  • Feed as the starter or grower directions say, as the normal daily routine
  • Keep the storage container closed, dry, and protected from pests

Labeled rate: One full pouch into 15–20 lb of complete chick starter or grower feed. Do not top-dress extra.

Brooder notes from the listing

  • Formulated for use from day one through about the first eight weeks and the move to the coop
  • After that transition, Buff Clucks points keepers to its regular all-flock herb supplement
  • Keep clean water in chick-safe waterers at all times
  • Watch activity, posture, appetite, drinking, droppings, breathing, and vent cleanliness daily

Storage

  • Reseal after opening
  • Store in a cool, dry place away from moisture, heat, direct sunlight, and pests
  • Keep out of reach of children and household pets
  • Follow the package shelf-life instructions

Frequently Asked Questions

How much should I mix?

Mix one complete pouch thoroughly into 15–20 lb of age-appropriate complete chick starter or grower feed. Do not top-dress extra, and do not exceed the package directions.

Can day-old chicks have it?

Buff Clucks states the formula was made for use from day one. Complete chick starter must remain the primary diet, mixed at the labeled ratio.

Does it replace starter feed?

No. It is a supplemental herb blend. Complete starter or grower feed still supplies the balanced energy, protein, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals chicks need.

When do chicks move off this blend?

Buff Clucks recommends it through roughly the first eight weeks and the brooder-to-coop transition, then its regular herb supplement for older birds.

Can it treat coccidiosis or respiratory disease?

No. It is not a medication or vaccine. Lethargy, huddling, blood in droppings, diarrhea, poor appetite, breathing difficulty, or rapid decline need prompt veterinary care.
