Returns & Refunds

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase from PetMegaMart. If something isn’t right, we’ll work with you to resolve it quickly and fairly. Please review the information below before requesting a return or exchange.


Return Eligibility

Most unopened items may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery, provided they are:

  • Unopened and unused
  • In original packaging
  • In resalable condition
  • Accompanied by your order number or packing slip

  • Whether you prefer a refund or exchange

Medication & Health Product Restrictions

For safety, compliance, and quality assurance reasons:

We cannot accept returns or exchanges on medications or certain health-related products once shipped.

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, please contact us immediately so we can assist.


Return Authorization Required (RMA)

Before returning merchandise, please request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

Shipping Costs & Possible Restocking Fees

  • Customers are generally responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to our error.
  • Original shipping charges are typically non-refundable.

We normally do not charge restocking fees. However, in certain situations—such as special orders, unusually large items (like cages), or excessive return activity—a modest restocking fee may apply to help cover handling and processing costs.

If a restocking fee applies, we will always communicate this clearly before processing your return.


Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect:

  • Contact us promptly (within 48 hours recommended)
  • Include photos if possible

We typically replace damaged or incorrect items at no additional cost rather than issuing a refund when appropriate.


Exchanges

We accept exchanges on most unopened items (excluding medications).

  • Customer covers return and reshipping costs unless due to our error
  • No restocking fee is normally charged on exchanges
  • Please contact us first for instructions

Orders Placed Against Terms of Service

Orders placed in violation of our Terms of Service, including unauthorized third-party resale or drop-shipping arrangements, may not be eligible for refunds once processed or shipped.
